Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.

Think about how many times a day you overreact to things that really do not matter.

If you feel your blood boil, take a deep breath and ask yourself, "Is this really worth getting stressed out over?" 

It's your choice how you live your life. I choose the positive side of life. 


1. How are you holding up?

=How are you coping (with everything)?

=Are you hanging in there? 

(hold up =hang in : 버티다, 견디다, cope with 대처하다)

어떻게 버티고 있니? 대처하고있니?

2. Would you spend your last days alone?

너는 너의 마지막날을 혼자 보낼거니?

3. I promise not to be late for class again.


The person is self-absorbed (self-absorbed 자신에게만 몰두하는)

그 사람은 눈치가 없어

He is oblivious.

The person is perceptive 눈치가 빠르다 (통찰력있는)

He's quick on his feet
